Visual weld inspection
Fit-up, in-process and final visual inspection of welds, with written reports for your QC file.
Q-Sea Inspections is a certified welding inspector based in Sitka. I inspect structural steel, pipe, docks and marine work, qualify your welders, and write your procedures. I fly out by floatplane to any town or village in the region.
From a single dock repair to a full structural steel package, you get a CWI who shows up, does the inspection to code, and hands you a report your engineer and owner will accept.

No road to your site? No problem. I travel by floatplane, Alaska Marine Highway ferry or skiff, and plan around tides and weather so the inspection happens when your crew is ready.
